During the 90’s -after dreaming of being a great jazz player – my career was oriented towards the academic contemporary  composition. I wrote concert music that was premiered at a modest variety of interesting venues including RNE, University of Hong Kong, Ysbreker, Aspen Music Festival, Teatro dei Documenti, Instituto Cervantes in Leeds, UMIST in Manchester or the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. At some point I even represented Spain at the International Forum of UNESCO in Paris. During that time some of the extraordinary musicians I worked with were Juanjo Guillem, Nicola Beller, Josep Vicent or Ned McGowan among others.

A turn of focus occurred by the end of XX century, when I decided to perform my own concert music without mediation. Since then many electroacoustic chamber concerts -mostly for small niche venues- have being premiered. Some of the more renowned hosts and institutions were the Auditorio Príncipe Felipe in Oviedo or videos for RTVE nightly programs.

A couple of mixed performances with Enéssima Ensemble + Rakel Camacho, occurred with the show «Una emoción mineral» across a couple of theaters in Spain but it ended soon.

On the other hand, third party music jobs scattered during decades through a diverse range of projects, with compositions and productions for film, theater, dance, jingles, video art, documentaries, etc. Notable collaborations included El Deseo, Teatro Español, Festival de Mérida, Centro Dramático Nacional (CDN), Ballet Nacional de Cuba, Cadena Cuatro, Teatro Alfil, and Festival de Otoño de Madrid. A highlight was the production and arrangement of the anthem for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa for Cadena Cuatro. Credit must be given to Mariano Marín for so many productions he counted on me. Those times are over too since I do not blend well with creative hierarchy.

As for some years now, I mostly perform and record solo or with small music ensembles of non-affiliated improvisation.
